TJ Warren Shines: Career High 28 Points

Published

on

Tj Warren had arguably his best outing of his NBA career against the undisputed best team in the association. Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors will have the headlines, but it was TJ Warren who quietly went about his business and continued to carve out his niche in the league.

On the night TJ had a career high scoring 28 points on 12-16 shooting, and adding 6 rebounds.

It was a throwback game watching him score from all over the court. He also showed improved touch from three point land as he converted two of three attempts. Stephen Curry may have scored 41 points, but the sensational sophomore TJ Warren is proving that he belongs in the NBA.

Don’t be surprised to see him gain more minutes after tonight’s showing. It should be noted that this was one of the few times he got major minutes with starters Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight. On this night Warren was tied for most minutes played on the Suns. He tallied 35 minutes.

Anyone who has watched TJ play knows that he belongs among the elite players in the league. Tonight was another step in the right direction for him. Warren will have an opportunity at an encore performance tomorrow night versus the Raptors.
