Philip Rivers Press Conference

Philip Rivers was in Raleigh this weekend to catch up with NC State Football and see some of his old teammates. It was great to have one of the best QB’s in school history back in town. It has been tough for Rivers to come back to Raleigh as he plays in San Diego, and mentioned that it is super difficult to make the cross country trip with such a big family.

Philip made sure to make the point that he is still a strong supporter of the team, and was very impressed with the improvements of the facilities such as the indoor practice facility, and seeing some of his former teammates coaching is a surreal sight for him.

Another topic that he discussed was how important it was for him personally coming into NC State a semester early. He said there would of been no way that he would of been a starter that first game of his freshman season if he didn’t arrive early.
