NC State’s 1983 Championship team Visits the White House

The 1983 national championship team finally visited the white house today. While it might seem as if something like this would happen right after they team won in ’83, the rules at the time did not allow for the school to pay for the player to travel for the trip.

“Everybody looks like they could still ball a little bit,” Obama said, before debating about whether the game winning basket was a shot or a pass.

All in all this was some nice press for the Pack and much deserved photo op for our 1983 champions.
