Dennis Smith Jr Mixtape

Let’s not forget that NC State has an absolute beast waiting, one they are eager to unleash next season. That beast is Dennis Smith Jr, and you can see in the video below created by Ball Is Life recently, that he lives up to the hype. Smith’s favorite player is Russell Westbrook and it is obvious that he plays 100% and has very similar athletic capabilities as his favorite player. It has been reported that Dennis is progressing nicely and is beginning to regain the athletic explosiveness that makes him so special.

Watching these highlights has to get NC State fans excited, and should have the rest of the ACC scared. As Smith continues to improve it is no doubt that he could be one of the most gifted players to wear Red & White. With that being said there will be a learning curve, but watching Dennis there are not many guys who will be able to stay in front of him, and few that can challenge him at the rim, especially at the PG position. Not only does he have the talent, but he has the competitive fire to make everyone else better, this will be a welcome addition for the Pack.

State could be looking at a rotation of Smith, Henderson, Dorn, Abu, Yurtseven, Rowan, and Anya. That would be a talented 7 man rotation to say the least. What began as an off-season of unknowns, has turned a little more positive with the commitments of 3 star Darius Hicks, and 5 Star Omer Yurtseven.
