That tweet was from Sunday when NC State hosted 2019 big man BJ Mack on an unofficial visit. Mack is 6’8, 250 and hails from Charlotte.

The kid is a beast on the blocks and is also being recruited by the likes of UNC, Duke, VT, and Georgia. Although everything is still in the early stages, Mack could be one of the top bigs in his class when all is said and done. He’s already a great rebounder, has a college ready frame, smooth footwork and a solid little jumper. As he grows into his body we’ll likely see his ball handling and mid range game start to blossom even more. Some liken Mack’s game to former Dukie Elton Brand. Both are big, smooth and talented.
