SI ranks NC State in the top 25 of best entrances in college football

There’s no questions that every NC State fan gets hyped when the smoke starts to build and the fireworks go off as the team enters Carter-Finley on game day. And while the entrance it pretty epic, have you ever wondered how it ranks compared to other teams around the country? Sports Illustrated did.

SI compiled a pretty nice list (accompanied by video) of the top 25 team entrances in college football and sure enough, NC State was on it. The Pack came in at #20 in all of college football and they got a little write up as well…

Running along a wolf statue is pretty dope. Wolves are underrated animals. If NC State wants the top spot though, they’re going to need a live wolf as opposed to a statue.

You have to admit, the NC State game experience for football and basketball has made major strides over the past 10 years and while we might not be at ‘live wolf’ level quite yet, it’s nice to finally get some recognition.
