NCAA Removes Champship Events from North Carolina
Yesterday the Board of Governors of the NCAA came to the decision that all 7 Championship events that were scheduled to take place in North Carolina will be relocated, based on their commitment to fairness and inclusion.
The Board of Governors views the HB2 law of North Carolina as different from states that have similar laws for these reasons:

Look, I’m a damn Trump supporter and I can see right through HB2. If the republican party is ever going to come back its not going to be on the backs of these divisive racist laws. McCrory if a freaking joke and so is this discussion. Its killing North Carolina revenue and separating our communities.
I hate the NCAA as much as anyone else, but I’m glad they are making NC pay for this law.
I don’t think anyone has a problem having a conversation about trasngenders and bathrooms, but when you lump in a bunch of turn back the clock laws that don’t allow people to sue for discrimination, you are allowing the foundation to be laid for racism at the state level. No thanks.
Don’t let the door…. The NCAA is an organization, much like the federal government, gone awry. Hope NC does not compromise the safety of its women and children to appease the deviant actions of the NCAA.
Interesting that the NCAA “can’t” force colleges to make sure they are providing a real education, instead of fake classes, but can try to bully NC into telling us who should use what bathroom…priorities…
