Jacoby Brissett Injures Thumb in Victory

Published

on

After leading the New England Patriots to a 27-0 victory over the Texans in his first NFL start, it was reported yesterday that former NC State quarterback Jacoby Brissett has torn a ligament in his thumb, which will require surgery for stabilization.

It was also reported by others that while Brissett did in fact injure his thumb, the severity might not be as bad as reported by the above reporter.

Hopefully Schefter and Rapoport are correct, and Brissett’s injury is only minor.
