Abu’s Vertical is Insane. Nearly tops out in testing.

Just a quick basketball update to wet your whistle.

The NC State basketball team is getting their preseason grades by testing speed, vertical and quickness. Numbers will likely start leaking out, but as of now what we have is this impressive video of Malik Abu nearly topping out in the vertical category. This is just insane.

Abu will finally be slotting into his natural position at power forward with the addition of Yurtseven. This should give Malik the ability to showcase his talent a little better. I think you’ll see more of him catching and facing, popping out for short jumpers and getting more aggressive on the boards. As you can see, athleticism has never been a weak spot for Abu, and his offseason work has him taking it to new levels.
