2 NC State Commits Named to Shrine Bowl

Earlier this week, the rosters for the 2016 Shrine Bowl were released, and two NC State 2017 commitments made the cut: CB Chris Ingram and LB Darius Hodge.

Ingram (6’0″/175) committed to NC State back in July of last year. He is a 3-star recruit. Ingram (Mooresville High School) ranks as the #41 overall cornerback in the class of 2017 according to Rivals, and Scout ranks him as the #1 cornerback in the state of North Carolina.

Hodge (6’2″/248) committed to NC State back on June 14th. He is a 3-star recruit, and Scout ranks him as the #2 Outside Linebacker in the state of North Carolina. 247Sports ranks Hodge (Wake Forest High School) as the #19 player in the state.

The Shrine Bowl is an annual all-star game where the top players from North Carolina face off against the top players from South Carolina. The 80th annual game will be on December 17th down in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
