NC State First High Major to Offer 2018 PG Xavier Johnson

2018 PG prospect Xavier Johnson tweeted yesterday that he had just received on offer from Mark Gottfried and NC State.

Now, do a little searching and you won’t find much about Johnson just yet. He’s a wrangly, slippery, super quick PG out of Bishop O’Connell in Arlington VA. What we do know about him is that he’s 6’3, 165lbs and he unofficially visited NC State on Aug 23rd.

NC State is by far his biggest offer thus far. His other offers are coming from Providence, Manhattan and Towson. It seems as if Gottfried is trying to get in early on Johnson before the other big dogs start finding out about him.
