Is NC State QBU?

Over at NFL.com, their analysts put their heads together to determine which college football team deserved the title QBU. They looked at current NFL quarterbacks, as well as the college’s quarterbacks they currently have in the pipeline. After tallying their votes, and adding up the points, NC State ranked 4th.

The 4th place ranking comes as a result of the analysts not considering Russell Wilson a NC State quarterback. Obviously, had they done so, NC State would have ranked much higher. For the love people, how long must NC State fans be tortured with this? Wilson spent 4 years in total at NC State, and graduated from there.

Enough with my rant.

Bucky Brooks, one of the NFL.com analysts, voted NC State #1, and here is what he had to say.

Bucky Brooks: 1) N.C. State 2) Michigan State 3) USC

Few would expect Raleigh, N.C, to be the epicenter of quarterback play, but the successful careers of Philip Rivers, Russell Wilson, Mike Glennon and Jacoby Brissett started in Carter-Finley Stadium. Although Wilson could be excluded on this list after spending his final season at Wisconsin, the fact that he shattered most of Rivers’ school passing records makes him a vital member of the squad despite losing his job to Glennon due to a desire to continue his baseball career.
