According to ESPN ‘sources,’ former NC State quarterback Jacoby Brissett will be behind center for today’s Pats vs. Bills game at 1pm.

Brissett was questionable this week with a bruised thumb, but with Jimmy Garoppolo’s shoulder still hurt, Brissett is getting the call.

Jacoby threw for 103 yards and ran for a touchdown last Thursday vs the Texans.

Per ESPN:

New England Patriots rookie quarterback Jacoby Brissett gets the start on Sunday while Jimmy Garoppolo will be inactive against the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

With Garoppolo missing his second straight game, star receiver Julian Edelmanis expected to serve as New England’s emergency backup quarterback, according to Schefter.

Kickoff at Gillette Stadium is at 1 p.m. ET.
