NC State Opens as 2.5 point Underdog Against Irish

NC State and Notre Dame will face each other Saturday for the first time since 2003, and the Wolfpack opens as a 2.5 point underdog against the Fighting Irish.

The Wolfpack are 3-1 against the spread thus far in 2016, and 3-0 at home.  They are 5-4 against the spread in Carter-Finley Stadium in their last 9 home games.

Notre Dame is 2-3 against the spread in 2016, and 1-1 on the road. They are 4-5 against the spread in their last 9 games on the road.

Back on January 1, 2013, NC State entered the Gator Bowl as 2 point underdogs against Notre Dame. The Wolfpack went on to defeat the Irish 28-6, decimating the spread.
