Joe Thuney NFL.com’s #14 Rookie After Week 4

After Week 4 in the NFL, former NC State All-American Offensive Lineman Joe Thuney is the #14 NFL rookie according to NFL.com.

Thuney has been a Steady Eddie for the Patriots. He played both tackle and guard at N.C. State, but he’s settled in nicely at guard for New England. He’s been very consistent in both the run game and pass protection. (NFL)

The irony of that, is that Thuney was taken by the New England Patriots in the third round, with the 78th overall pick in the draft.

According to ProFootballFocus, Thuney is the 2nd highest rated Patriots Offensive Lineman (74.7), slightly behind Tackle Nate Solder (76.3).
