NC State offers 2020 Raleigh SG Carson McCorkle

Man, things move fast in the world of recruiting. Just a few days ago NC State started expressing interest in Carson McCorkle, a freshman at Broughton HS in Raleigh, NC. Then after the coaches visited him a day later, Gottfried watched him workout last night. I guess that workout went well as NC State became the 3rd school to extend an offer.

McCorkle now holds offers from Iowa, Georgia Tech and now NC State. He will be visiting Duke next week where he possibly could get another one.

Remember, Carson is only a freshman and has yet to even play a HS game and he’s already racking in the offers from high majors. This is going to be a long, hard fought recruitment with a lot of big names involved. We’ll keep a tabs on it as it plays out.
