Last night former NC State standout Trea Turner and the Natinals defeated the Dodgers 8-3, gaining a 2-1 advantage in the National League Divisional Series. The Nationals took a 4-3 lead into the top of the 9th inning, which was kicked off by a 450-foot bomb by Jayson Werth.

Turner hit a single in the 3rd inning, and Jayson Werth doubled to deep right to knock him in to put the Nationals on the board. He was 1-5 on the night, with one run scored.

Through three games, Turner is batting .250 (3 hits). He has struggled a bit at the beginning of this postseason, striking not out in 8 of his 12 at bats.
