C.J. Williams Waived by Mavericks

On Saturday the Dallas Mavericks waived former NC State wing C.J. Williams. He averaged 3.4 points in 10.1 minutes per game for Dallas this preseason (5 games).

Williams averaged 12 points per game last season playing professionally in France.

According to D-League Digest, Williams is expected to join the Texas Legends in the D-League. Williams played in the D-League back in 2013-14 for the Los Angeles D-Fenders, averaging 14 points and 5 rebounds in 49 games.
