Former NC State guard Lorenzo Brown was waived by the Detroit Pistons this weekend. The Pistons decided to give their final roster spot to Ray McCallum Jr., who averaged five points, four assists and three rebounds in 22.3 minutes per game this preseason (3 games). Brown averaged 5 points and 2.7 assists in three preseason games.

It’s likely that Brown will end back with the Grand Rapids Drive, the Pistons D-Leaue team, who he played for on different occasions over the past two seasons.

Zo played in 63 games in the NBA over the past three seasons with the Timberolves, Pistons and Suns. Over that same span, he has played in 64 games in the D-Leauge, averaging 17.5 points, 5.4 assists, and 5.1 rebounds.
