NC State Ranks 32nd in AP Preseason Poll

The 2016-17 AP Preseason Poll is out and NC State ranked 32nd. Here is a look at how the other ACC schools fared in the poll:

6) UNC
8) UVA
13) Louisville
19) Syracuse
28) FSU
31) Miami
35) Virginia Tech
43) Notre Dame

The last time NC State was ranked in the AP poll was back on 1/28/13, when they were ranked 19th. The Wolfpack started that season ranked 6th.

Gottfried has yet to lead an NC State to finish the season ranked in the AP Top 25, but has finished in the Top 25 in the Coaches Poll twice (2013 – 20th/2015 – 24th).
