Ted Kapita Cleared by NCAA, Huge boost for the Wolfpack

Ted Kapita is cleared to play, and really that is huge news for NC State.

The Pack showed a clear weakness in the paint on Friday night, and another big body is just what the docter ordered.

The NCAA was looking into Ted because there were rumors he signed a professional contract after decommitting from Arkansas. Kapita denies that claim, and now the NCAA agrees with him.

Welcome aboard Ted!

Here is what NC State had to say:

“The NCAA conducted a thorough, and thoughtful evaluation of Ted’s complete situation,” N.C. State Director of Athletics Debbie Yow said in the release. “We appreciate their diligence in reaching this outcome.”

“I’m very happy for Ted,” N.C. State head coach Mark Gottfried said in the release. “He’s been patient through this process and I look forward to him getting back on the floor.”

Definitely need more bodies in the paint for defense and rebounding.
