Paul Coro of AZ Central newspaper reported that TJ Warren has begun light activity and should be in line to start progressing towards a return from a minor head injury that he was diagnosed with on November 18th.
TJ had been having a great season for the Suns averaging 17.7 PPG, and 4.3 RPG. Not only has he been one of the best offensive options for the Suns, he is also showing up on defense. Recently GM Ryan McDonough had this to say about Warren,
“He’s been probably our most consistent two-way player and our best scorer in terms of efficiency, and just being able to get a bucket to stop an opposing run or to start a run of our own in the halfcourt.” BrightSide
“He’s up there among the league-leaders in terms of deflections and steals. We want to see how our team looks when we have everybody (healthy).”
The Suns couldn’t be happier about his return. Since TJ has been out the Suns are 2-5. You can catch the Suns on national TV this Friday as they play the Lakers, coverage is slated for 10:30 on ESPN.
Good news. TJ is one of the few bright spots in Wolfpack sports. Even Rivers is starting to drop off lately.
