Defense fails NC State again, falls to #25 Notre Dame

NC State fell to #25 Notre Dame on Saturday 81-72.

The Wolfpack once again got down early and tried to fight their way back. They got close at one point, but again, they couldn’t get over the hump.

Notre Dame shot 50% from the field and hit 13 3s.

Dennis Smith Jr scored 16 and Mav Rowan added 15. The unexpected line was from Markell Johnson who dropped 12 points and 5 assists. That’s a good sign as the Pack will be expecting a lot from Johnson next season with Smith off to the NBA.
