Rodon entered the game with only 5 career at bats, but he capitalized on the sixth. For NC State fans, the double didn’t come as a surprise. Rodon hit .283 in his final season for the Wolfpack.
Due to tendinitis in his bicep, Rodon missed the first two months of the season, and has struggled to return to form, repping a 6.29 ERA in 5 starts in 2017. With that being said, expect him to turn things around, because the 24-year old stud is too talented not to.
He gave flashes of his best stuff on Tuesday, striking out 11 batters in 4 innings, which is the most in that short of an outing in MLB history.
