4-star 2018 Small Forward Elias King has been on a tour of colleges this summer, and NC State was one of his stops. King, who is the number #31 player in the 2018 class, and the #1 player in the state of Georgia, had this to say about the Wolfpack and some of the other schools he had a chance to visit this summer:

Auburn: “Bruce Pearl, he’s a great coach. He lets you go and lets you play your game.”

Georgia: “I liked Georgia a lot. They let me know how they would play me in the offense and how I could play the point as well as the ‘2’ and ‘3’. Coach (Mark) Fox, he’s a great coach. I like the way they buy in as a team. Everybody on the team there is treated the same way.”

Georgia Tech: “It went well. They were telling me things I could add to my game to become a great basketball player. They talked about how they would play me if I went there. Coach (Josh) Pastner is a great coach to play for because he’ll let you play your game, but you do have to play his game as well and play defense and buying in on a lot of things.”

Louisville: “It went great there too. I did enjoy my visit there. They were just telling me what they expect from incoming freshmen and what I would need to do to get on the floor there.”

NC State: “They let you play there too. Coach (Kevin) Keatts saw me playing at their team camp and that’s when he started recruiting me.” (Rivals)

NC State offered King back on July 8th, but they might have a hard time getting the talented wing out of the Peach State.
