Fellow Rookies Pick Dennis Smith Jr. To win ROY

39 rookies were surveyed by NBA.com at the Rookie Photo Shoot at the Knicks practice facility earlier this month, and a majority of them think former NC State point guard Dennis Smith Jr is the one most likely to win the Rookie of the Year award, collecting 25.7 percent of the votes. The rest of his peers also thought that he was the most athletic of the bunch, collecting 46.2% of the votes. They also thought he was the second biggest steal in the 2017 NBA Draft, behind Donovan Mitchell, who went to the Jazz with the 13th overall pick. Check out the full results of the survey here.
