Landers Nolley is a 4 star 6’7 SG from Fairburn, GA via Chicago (class of 2018) and is someone who is starting to pop up on NC State’s radar. Nolley is set for an official visit to Raleigh on Sept 10th.

Here is a rundown of his play at the recent Las Vegas Adidas Summer Championships.

Nolley put on a scoring clinic all weekend in Vegas, knocking perimeter shot after perimeter shot. He cemented his status as one of the elite shooters in the country by shooting a jaw-dropping 56.4% from beyond the arch on 39 attempts. Not just a shooter, Landers showed the ability to create shots off the dribble by changing speeds off the bounce before converting at the rim or finding teammates for easy looks. We also liked his motor on the glass, as he boxed out the opposition and embraced contact when rebounding. For the weekend, Nolley averaged 21.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists on 50% from the field. See below for highlights. (EndlessMotor.net)

As you can tell, Nolley is an elite outside shooter/scorer and if he really is 6’7 then that means it’ll be easy for him to get that shot off. For NC State, getting some scorers on this roster is very important. Keatts has a group that is athletic and scrappy, but what he lacks is guys who can consistently put it in the bucket. For Nolley, NC State could be a chance to play in the ACC and be a go-to scorer early in his career

Nolley is ranked in the top 100 and is a 4-star kid according to 247 sports and holds offers from Virginia Tech, UConn, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Clemson, Cincy, Georgetown, just to name a few.

Take a look at his highlight reel.

*Note: Sites list him at 6’4 or 6’5 but other more recent articles claim he is 6’7. Nolley also mentions that he is 6’7 on his Twitter.
