NC State Women’s Soccer Ranked 18th in New Poll

After defeating Coastal Carolina 3-0 in their home opener last Thursday, NC State’s Women’s Soccer team has moved from 21st to 18th in the new TDS rankings (Top Drawer Soccer). The Wolfpack boasts a 3-0 record heading into Friday’s matchup against Princeton at home at 8pm.

Last season was a breakthrough season, finishing with a winning record for the first time in 5 years, and making it to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1996.

Head Coach Tim Santoro has brought the Wolfpack onto the national radar in his 5th season on the job. NC State’s Women’s Soccer team hasn’t been a part of the national conversation since the early 1990’s. Santoro is doing something special here in Raleigh.
