NC State Profits Off USC Game Win Or Lose

NC State needs to walk out of Bank of America Stadium with a win over South Carolina on Saturday night if they want to have a season that matches some of the hype flying around the program right now, but the trip will be profitable win or lose. According to USAToday, NC State and South Carolina’s bank accounts will be nice and full after Saturday.

If NC State wins, they leave with a minimum of $2 million. If they lose, they leave with a minimum of $2 million. That’s the lowest possible option of the three. If NC State sells 60,001 tickets, they leave with $2.5 million. At some number over 60,000 tickets sold by NC State, 45% of the net revenue will equal more than $2.5 million, and at that point, they would move to that option.
