WATCH: Trea Turner finishes a HR short of the cycle for Nationals

Former Wolfpack SS Trea Turner is off the disabled list for the Nationals and back to wreaking havoc on the national league.

The 24 year old Turner, in his third game back from injury, put on a show against the Brewers going 3-4 with an RBI, two walks and two steals. What makes it even more impressive is how he got those three hits. A basic ground ball up the middle that he turned into a double (thanks to his insane 7.8 second home-to-2nd base speed), a bunt single,  and a laser beam off the top of the right field wall.

Don’t look now, but Trea Turner is becoming a superstar in the majors and he got his start right here in Raleigh. If he can stay off the disable list, Turner will surely be an all-star SS with a big-time payday on the way.
