Heading into the South Carolina game this afternoon, there are a few NC State players that will make their way up the ranks of the record books.

Defensive End Bradley Chubb currently ranks 10th all-time at NC State with 16 career sacks. He only needs one sack today in order to tie Ray Agnew and George Anderson for 8th place. Mario Williams is the all-time career sack leader at NC State with 25.5. Chubb also ranks 12th in school history with 34 career tackles for loss. He needs 2.5 tackles for loss today in order to tie Oliver Hoyte and Art Norman for 10th all-time. Again, Mario Williams is the all-time tackles for loss leader at NC State with 55.5.

H-Back Jaylen Samuels currently ranks 14th all-time at NC State with 16 career rushing touchdowns. He is only 1 rushing touchdown away from Toney Baker in 13th place. Ted Brown is the all-time leader in rushing touchdowns at NC State with 49. He also ranks 126 career receptions, which ranks 7th all-time. He is only 5 receptions behind Nasrallah Worthen in 6th place. Jerricho Cotchery is the all-time reception leader at NC State with 200. Samuels’ 15 touchdown receptions rank 6th all-time, and he is two touchdown receptions behind George Bryan and Eddie Goines in 4th place. Torry Holt is the all-time touchdown reception leader at NC State with 31. Finally, Samuels ranks 7th all-time with 31 total touchdowns, and is only 1 touchdown away from Ray Robinson in 6th place. Ted Brown is the all-time total touchdown leader at NC State with 51.

Ryan Finley’s 3,059 passing yards last season already put him in 15th all-time, and he is 276 yards behind Tol Avery in 14th place. Philip Rivers is the obvious all-time leader in passing yards, with 13,484. Finley’s 243 completions last year already rank 16th all-time, and he is 42 completions behind Roman Gabriel in 15th place. Rivers 1,087 career completions sit at the top of the list. Finley’s 18 touchdowns rank 14th all-time, and he is 1 touchdown behind Geoff Bender, Terry Jordan, Roman Gabriel, and Jay Davis for 10th all-time. Rivers’ 95 career touchdown passes sits at the top of the list. Finally, Finley’s current 60.4% career completion percentage at NC State ranks 2nd all-time behind Rivers’ 63.6%.
