NC State Snap Count: Offense: South Carolina

Published

on

Before we completely move on to Marshall, we wanted to take a detailed look at which NC State offensive players the coaches kept on the field the most against South Carolina.

Quarterback

Ryan Finley – 106 snaps – RS Junior Finley played every single snap at Quarterback for the Wolfpack

Running Back

There was an “OR” in between Juniors Nyheim Hines and Reggie Gallaspy, and it looks like it was justified.

Nyheim Hines – 53 snaps (52% of total offensive snaps)
Reggie Gallaspy – 48 snaps (47% of total offensive snaps)

Wide Receiver
While there is more depth at Wide Receiver this season, RS Junior Stephen Louis and Sophomore Kelvin Harmon barely left the field. Don’t expect that to change.

Stephen Louis – 95 snaps (92% of total offensive snaps)
Kelvin Harmon – 94 snaps (91%)
Jakobi Meyers – 47 snaps (46%)
Gavin Locklear – 19 snaps (18%)
C.J. Riley – 16 snaps (16%)
Emeka Emezie – 10 snaps (10%)

Offensive Line

Senior Tony Adams, RS Juniors Garrett Bradbury and Tyler Jones, and RS Freshman Justin Witt played every single offensive snap in the game. RS Junior Terronne Prescod was battling some injuries throughout Fall Camp, and as a result, his conditioning wasn’t at a level to handle a full game. Expect his number of snaps to increase against Marshall.

Tony Adams – 103 snaps (100%)
Garrett Bradbury – 103 snaps (100%)
Tyler Jones – 103 snaps (100%)
Justin Witt – 103 snaps (100%)
Terronne Prescod – 61 snaps 59%
Joe Sculthorpe – 47 snaps (46%)
Peter Daniel – 6 snaps (6%)

H-Back
Senior Jaylen Samuels played a career high 82 snaps (80%) against South Carolina. He was literally targeted in 22% of the plays in which he was in the game.

Tight End
Cole Cook isn’t targeted in the passing game much, but in the 1 snap that he was, he made it count for 29 yards.

Cole Cook – 55 snaps (53%)
Dylan Parham – 2 snaps
Dylan Autenrieth – 1 snap
