T.Y. McGill Charged with Marijuana Possession

On Sunday former NC State Defensive Tackle T.Y. McGill received the bad news that he was released by the Indianapolis Colts. Yesterday he received the good news that he was claimed by the Cleveland Browns. Today we are back on the bad news train, with news breaking that McGill was charged with marijuana possession over the weekend in Charlotte. After attending the NC State vs. South Carolina game, an Alcohol Law Enforcement agent caught McGill with a “small amount of marijuana.”

It’s not clear if this will affect his status with the Browns, and he could be subject to discipline by the NFL.
