NC State Women’s Soccer Improves to 5-1

Last night NC State Women’s Soccer team improved to 5-1 on the season, dealing ECU (4-1-1) their first loss of the season in a 2-1 victory at home. The Wolfpack is off to their best start since 1993.

Sophomore Tziarra King scored both of NC State’s goals, giving her 5 on the season, which ranks 2nd in the ACC. Her 14 points (goal + assists) is currently tops in the conference.

The Wolfpack had 11 shots compared to the Pirates 3. Seven of NC State’s shots were on goal.

NC State’s next matchup will be against Davidson at home on Sunday at 1pm.
