NC State Visiting 5-Star Joey Baker Today

The NC State coaching staff will be in to see 5-star 2019 Small Forward Joey Baker (6’7″/197) today at Trinity Christian (Fayettville, NC). Baker is the #13 overall player in the 2019 class according to ESPN. Yesterday NC State head coach Kevin Keatts was at Oak Hill Academy watching Keldon Johnson, Keyontae Johnson, David McCormack and Josh Nickelberry.

NC State offered him a scholarship back on May 5th, and back in June Baker visited NC State, and enjoyed getting to know the coaches. Over the past two years, Baker has visited Duke, Kentucky, South Carolina, and UNC on numerous occasions.

The Wolfpack snagged another big time prospect out of Trinity Christian a couple of years ago. You might have heard of him. His name was Dennis Smith Jr.
