2018 3-Star Wide Receiver Joe Wilkins Jr (6’2″/180) has set an official visit to NC State for December 9th according to Scout’s Corey Bender.

According to Wilkins, there are six schools that are recruiting him the hardest right now: NC State, Iowa St., USF, Kentucky, Notre Dame, and Michigan St.

“I love how (safeties) coach (Aaron) Henry is from our area,” Wilkins said. “He’s been real with me and in constant contact with me. I talk to him and coach (George) Barlow, the cornerbacks coach, on an everyday basis.
“I got to meet the whole coaching staff at an FAU camp, and received nothing but love from the entire coaching staff.”
“I’m looking to see where I’m going to get the best education and where I’m wanted the most,” Wilkins said. “(I’ll decide) after I take my officials, but possibly before.
“I’m not sure yet.” (Scout)
