NC State Rocking the ‘Tuffy’ Helmets against Furman

This Saturday NC State will run out onto the field at Carter-Finley Stadium for the second time ever in their alternate ‘Tuffy’ helmets.

The only time that NC State has worn this particular ‘Tuffy’ helmet was back on October 11, 2014, when Boston College waltzed into Carter-Finley, defeating the Wolfpack 30-14.

This isn’t the only time in 2017 that the Wolfpack will boast ‘Tuffy’ on their heads. This is what the uniforms will look like in the game against Louisville.

Here’s to hoping NC State plays better in the Tuffy helmet in 2017, than we did in 2014.
