Alim McNeil to Announce Decision on January 6

NC State has been, and continues to be the leader for 4-Star DT Alim McNeil (6’2″/272) out of Sanderson High School (Raleigh, NC), and he announced this morning that he plans on announcing his college decison during halftime of the U.S. Army All-American game.

McNeil initially planned on announcing his decision on September 9th, but decided to push back his decision to make sure that he examined all of his options, and made the best decision. The delay could raise concerns for Wolfpack fans, because the thought was that he was going to pop for NC State on September 9th. With that being said, McNeil still stated after announcing the delay that NC State was still his leader.

It will be interesting to see how big of a priority Michigan and Florida St. make McNeil. The longer he waits, the more appetizing these options become, but at the end of the day, McNeil is a Raleigh boy, and loves NC State, and has zero question on the Wolfpack’s love for him.

The U.S. Army All-American game will be on NBC, so Wolfpack fans will have the opportunity to be filled with anxiety as they watch their coveted prospect make his decision.
