Jimbo Fisher Impressed with Samuels, Finley, & Hines

Florida St. head coach Jimbo Fisher spoke very highly of NC State’s football team in his press conference this week, specifically highlighting Wolfpack Quarterback Ryan Finley, H-Back Jaylen Samuels, and Running Back Nyheim Hines.

Ryan Finley
Quarterback is playing lights out. Man, he can flat play. He’s completing over 75% of his passes. He can really play. He’s very smart. He’s very athletic and can run if he has to. He knows where he’s going with the ball.

Jaylen Samuels
Jaylen Samuels is the epitome of a football player. He can play everywhere, do everything, catch, run, block, throw. I mean, there’s nothing he can’t do. There’s not only great physical skills there, there are great mental skills. It takes great intelligence to play the different positions. The greatest compliment I can give him is that he’s a football player…he can do anything.

Nyheim Hines
Whether he’s returning it, or running it, he can make plays. He’s all over the daggone field. He plays tailback. He’s a shorter guy, but he’s stocky and strong. He’s right under 200 pounds. You can’t arm tackle him, and he’s hard to get down. He runs routes.
