NC State in the Mix for 4 Star Creighton Decommit

Published

News broke yesterday that 4-star 2018 Power Forward Ian Steere (6’9″/230/#104 player in 2018)) decommitted from Creighton, and within hours, NC State was one of many schools that reached out.

The first college that Steere visited was NC State back in May.  Shortly after that he visited Louisville in June. Kevin Keatts and crew offered Steere a scholarship on July 2nd, but then committed to Creighton 4 days later.

According to sources, distance was behind Steere’s decommitment.

Out of the schools that reached out today, NC State is obviously the team in closest proximity to Steere.

Also, Steere will be playing with NC State 2018 PF/C commit Manny Bates at Northwood Temple in Fayettville (NC) this season.

Interesante.

And I can’t help but share…Steere posterizing UNC commit Brandon Huffman.
