Former NC State Quarterback Jacoby Brissett confidently led the Indianapolis Colts to their first win of the 2017 season yesterday, defeating the Cleveland Brown 31-28.

If his teammates and coaches were impressed with him last week, they are going to have to whip out a dictionary to find new ways to describe their new signal caller.

Brissett was 17/24 for 259 yards with a touchdown, and he also used his legs to rush for 2 touchdowns, including one where he put a video game like spin move on the Browns defense, and ran the other way straight into the end zone.

ProFootballFocus gave Brissett a grade of 86.2 for his performance, making him the highest graded Colt yesterday. After Week 3, Brissett is the 7th best graded Quarterback in the NFL.

Brissett didn’t look like a 3rd string, or a backup quarterback yesterday. He looked like he belonged, and that’s because he does.
