Former NC State Safety Josh Jones made his first NFL start yesterday for the Packers, and he just so happened to break out and shine as the most impressive defensive player on the field.

Jones made his debut against the Falcons last week, taking half of the snaps, picking up 4 tackles.

Yesterday Jones played every single snap for the Packers, picking up 12 tackles (3 for loss) and 2 sacks. In overtime, the Packers held the Bengals to a 3-and-out in the opening drive, and Jones made the final two tackles that ultimately led Cincinnati to punt, which led to the Packers winning field goal.

Jones received an impressive 83.7 grade by ProFootballFocus for his performance, which was the second highest grade by a player on the Packers yesterday. Also, through three games, Jones is the 13th best graded Safety according to PFF.
