NC State Visits 4-Star Jericole Hellems

The NC State men’s basketball coaching staff continues to be in hot pursuit some of their top 2018 recruiting targets, today visiting with 4-star Small Forward Jericole Hellems today.

Hellems took an official visit to NC State on the last weekend of August and the Wolfpack coaching staff was down to visit him at Chaminade Prep a little over a week ago (September 19th). Hellems also took an official visit to South Carolina, but one has to wonder if they are off his radar now, with the Gamecocks name getting tossed around in the current college basketball scandal.

With the commitment of 4-star big man Manny Bates, NC State has a minimum of 3 scholarship’s to give in the 2018 class (4 if Omer Yurtseven likely leaves). The Wolfpack coaching staff has continued to make Hellems a priority, and seems eager to make him one of those three (or four).
