NC State head coach Kevin Keatts picked up his second commitment of the 2018 recruiting class this morning, as 4-Star Power Foward Ian Steere (6’9″/230) committed to run with the Wolfpack.

Steere is the #104 overall player in the 2018 recruiting class according to Rivals and the #8 player in the state of North Carolina according to 247Sports.

NC State offered Steere back in the beginning of July, but Steere shortly after committed to Creighton. After being committed to Creighton for a couple of months, he must not been able to get the Wolfpack off of his mind, because he decommitted from Creighton on September 22nd and took his official visit to NC State last weekend.

Steere joins fellow big man Manny Bates as the second commitment in the 2018 recruiting class, and they also will play as high school teammates this year at Northwood Temple Academy. It will be awesome to see the chemistry these two enter college with, after playing together for their senior year of high school.
