Former NC State Shortstop Trea Turner and the Nationals beat the Cubs 5-0 last night to force a Game 5 tonight at 8pm in Washington.

After going hitless in his first 13 at bats of the National League Divisional Series, Turner managed to get the monkey off of his back, and hit a double in the second inning.

Turner also walked twice, and scored two of the Nationals 5 runs.

“I felt good because I’m at the top of the lineup to get on base, kind of start things, I haven’t done a good job of that this series,” Turner said. “To have one fall felt good. Tried to get the ball rolling.” (Nationals)
