Dennis Smith Jr Leaves Game With Sprained Ankle
Last night former NC State point guard Dennis Smith Jr sprained his ankle in the Mavericks 108-94 preseason victory over the Hawks. Smith started off the game strong, picking up 9 points and 3 assists in 13 minutes of play.

But shortly into the game, Dennis had to leave the game with a sprained article.

Dennis didn’t return, but he wasn’t scheduled to play in the second half anyway. Mans head coach Rick Carlisle doesn’t think the injury is serious, and said their is a chance he plays tonight.
Rick Carlisle says Dennis Smith Jr.’s left ankle sprain isn’t believed to be serious and there’s a chance he plays Friday in Charlotte.
