Dick Vitale scolds NCAA, Backs NC State and Beverly

Dicky V has gotten his fair share of criticism from NC State fans. He’s pretty much always been a mouthpiece for the blue bloods, but lately, he’s found the light.

Vitale was very critical of the NCAA on their ruling in favor of UNC yesterday. Today is more of the same as Vitale tweeted to the NCAA to have some common sense and let Beverly suit up.

Will pressure from big names end up persuading the NCAA to change their tune? I wouldn’t hold my breath. The NCAA likes to take a hard stand against those who speak out against them (except in the case with UNC). However, maybe they can save a little face with an overturn of their ruling.
