With all the hype and success around the football team, it’s easy to forget that Basketball season is right around the corner. In fact, this Friday (8/20) at 8pm, NC State opens the season with their annual ‘Primetime with the Pack’ festivities.

I’m not sure why this hasn’t been publicized quite as much as in prior years, but we are only a couple days away and a simple google search doesn’t bring up a landing page, ticket information or anything. In fact, all we found was a single post on GoPack.com with a link to reserve tickets.  Despite those facts, it is going on as scheduled.

In case you aren’t familiar with the layout, both the men’s and women’s team take to Reynolds Coliseum to participate in a pseudo pep-rally. In the past, there would be a scrimmage at the end, but not this year (at least for the men’s team). The first time you can see them in action is Friday, Nov 3rd against Mars Hill in an exhibition game.

The biggest question we are getting at the moment is whether or not the event will be live streamed. We think it will, however, we have not gotten confirmation from NC State media relations.

Get your tickets now (it’s free and there are still some available.)
