NC State Places 6 on PFF’s Week 7 ACC Team of the Week

6 NC State players made ProFootballFocus’ ACC Team of the Week for their performance against Pitt on Saturday. This is the most players NC State has placed on one of PFF’s weekly teams this season.

Defensive End Bradley Chubb didn’t blow up the box score (2 tackles, 1 pass break up), but when they broke down game tape, he was found constantly doing his job. Linebacker Jerod Fernandez had 5 tackles, with one of them going for a loss. Cornerback Mike Stevens had 1 tackle, 1 pass breakup, and 1 interception.

Quarterback Ryan Finley was 14 of 25 for 198 yards and a touchdown, which is a quiet day according to his standards, but he graded out well on film. Offensive Tackle Will Richardson and Offensive Guard Terronne Prescod helped lead an offensive line that once again didn’t give up a sack, and opened up holes for a running game that produced 248 yards on the ground and 3 rushing touchdowns.
