Dennis Smith Jr. Has a Historic NBA Debut
Former NC State Point Guard Dennis Smith Jr debuted in his first NBA regular season game last night, and he rewrote the record books while he was at it.
The Mavericks fell to the Hawks 111-117, but Smith Jr lived to his preseason hype, dropping 16 points (6-12 FG) and 10 Assists.
Let’s just say that’s not a normal thing to do in game 1 of your NBA career.

Also, he tried to humiliate a few defenders and the rim on this play in the second quarter.
